I am new to this site a new owner of a 1972 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible. Paid $7k for it and it only has 61k original miles. I love it!!! Before I purchased it we had an inspection performed. The inspection said it needed upper and lower ball joints, motor mounts and tie rod bushings, etc. I need some parts advice. Are there some better than others? Some to stay away from? Anyway to beef it up? Any help would be appreciated.

Are you going to do the work or have someone else? I think I would get another opinion, as a car with only 61k, if it had proper maintenance should not nee any of those things!Where are you located, maybe help with 2nd opinion!

I used Moog parts from RockAuto.com or Amazon.com for the last 3 replacements

I used McQuay Norris parts to build my 72 front. Some of the parts are built in USA.
