Ok according to ACL performance there is a 3.8 Liter Ecotec piston - Dimensions are as follows:

Cast, Bore - 3.8", Stroke - 3.4", Compheight - 1.087", 2.6 cc dish, Pin Diameter - 0.866", Comp Ratio 10:1

The question is can this piston be used with a stock 80 231 connecting rod assembly and not eat the valves with a 0.425" lift single pattern cam?:COMP:

Im not exactly worried about the eco or green machine praticallity but I am interested in the fit of the pistons and how they would operate, I'm looking for a piston to yeild any where between 9.0:1 to 10.2:1 for the the 231, I know the piston for the 231 is the same dimension as the 350 - I am however worried the 350 pin is larger in diameter than the 6 pin.

I know the to rod journal of the 6 is 2.2487" - 2.2495" the 350 is 1.991" - 2.00" but I don't know the pin dimesions.
