So, I saw that Dynacorn makes new A-body skeletons for $10K that are mostly for Chevelles.
I was thinking it would be great to couple that with an Art Morrison chassis to make a new 1970 GSX clone by using Skylark body panels.

Here are my questions.
How similar are the Chevelle and Skylark bodies? Their silhouettes seem to be the same. One has flared fenders, one has creases.

I saw an engine-less Chevelle for sale for $1200, ruined paint, no rust. Maybe that's more cost effective. The body Budget is $15K, not including paint and the drivetrain, I can do some welding and grinding, but I don't have the facilities to do the painting.

Would I be better off buying a Skylark for $10K and just swap in the new grille?
