Club Merchandise section of BPG website?

When I try to look at any of the club merchandise online, I get:

"You need to set your database connection in vsadmin/db_conn_open.php."

I've cleared my cookies, history, etc, any ideas?

Same here, I'm sure the problem is with the board database, not our computers.

The merch section has been down since the old BOD took back over. Now that we have a Paypal account, I can look into getting the store going again. Oh boy, better add it to the list!!

hmm...I have forgotten about it.

Rather than trying to do an interactive page, I may just post what is for sale with a picture, and instruct on how to pay - either by paypal or check to a specified address.

Works for me, Adam. But unfortunately Brad tells me there are no XXXL shirts available. XXL just doesn't fit after a few washings. It seems the XXXL shirts were sold out at Salem within about the first hour on day one. Methinks the sizes/quantities of t-shirts could use some tweaking.

I can't answer why the link won't work, but I can tell you that there were hats available at last years Nat's. We packed them up at the end of the show and sent them with Brad. I suggest you email or PM him- he also handles the memberships. So it should be fairly easy to do it all at once- assuming he hasn't buried the boxes! They were available in Navy or Grey, and were somewhere around $12.00.

Someone send me about 3 hours that I can devote to creating a new merch page.

I'd like to get it going, but just haven't had a chance.

Could just remove the link, its been dead for months n month.

Could direct the link to this or a similar new thread with info on who to contact.

Could just make it a email link that emails who ever with a filled in subject line like "Club Merchandise Info"

Or tell me or direct me to what all is for sale and in 3 mins Ill make ya a page with said products and contact info, you can upload in 10-15sec including log in time.


All much quicker then posting a messge in the forum.



There is always a way around it. Don't even have to be fancy php, just rename a simple html file to .php and it still works and loads.

If ya need help just ask.

The biggest roadblock I have right now, is getting a tally and a pricelist of everything we have "for sale." As soon as all that is sorted out, it should be a cakewalk. Thanks for keeping this thread active - it's my only reminder to get things done.

I seem to be really short of quality time to do this kind of stuff anymore. It's really frustrating.

Jodie can make you one, if you wish. We'll need your size, color wanted and how many. They are $35 each (plus shipping) for S-XL sizes and $38 each (plus shipping) for 2XL and up.

I am wondering if any decals are available. I would like one for my wagon. Maybe just a small one ( about 2" dia )inside mount to go in the corner of the windshield with my Goodguys, and GSCA decals.
