The 2006 Popular Hot Rodding Engine Masters Challenge will have 434 cubic inch engines either small or big blocks.
We at Automotive Machine & Performance competed in 2003 with a 10.8 to one “true street engine” and came in third among the 13 to 1 dyno queens in the regional at Memphis. In 2005 the EMC was at Bill Mitchell’s Hard Core Products on Long Island NY we came in 9th overall, again with an 11.4 to one “true street engine”.
For 2006 the rules have been changed to limit the compression to 10.5 to one. This along with the smaller cubic inches, the Buick will have nearly as good a chance as the rest of the brands. I am not saying I can win in 2006 but I am going to try my best to make a few more Ford’s & Chevy’s look bad than I have in the past.
If you are interested in having the baddest 430 street engine on the planet, contact Mike Phillips at AM& P. For more information go to my website www.automachperf.com.
