I figured I'd go with 2.5" (hopefully mandrel bent), X pipe with quiet mufflers (probably Walkers). But I have 2 issues, 1st I'm using manifolds, 2nd I have N-25 bumper. TorqueTec kit looks fine, but they don't have N-25 pipes (or at least on their website)...
Who knows WHAT is out there? I could be wrong, but I think Harvey might have installed Torquetec on his 71 conv (now back in Mike's garage).
Harvey, do tell....:TU:

I have manifolds on the wifes car but no N25. I have no issues since my muffler shop here can bend mandrel stuff up to make things work.

Sure looks good when its done, and sounds GREAT too! A good muffler shop will be able to do it for you, but and I mean a big BUT, make sure to see something they have done, or ask your friends for references.
I took my racecar to a muffler shop and they said "Oh yea we have done tons of the torque tech systems. They messed it up.
Part of it was my fault for having two kits mixed together. I used the Dr. Gas X setup and the Torque Tech. system.

I ordered the 16 gage mandrel bent aluminized 2.5 pipes with an X and Walker 20" mufflers. I got the set for $382 (22% off) & mufflers for $120 (ten bucks off), then about $60 in freight.
That's pretty good sale price. If anyone needs exhaust, now would be the time. They told me there is a 10% sale price, + an additional 12% off on Buick. :TU:
