Hi everyone,
It's been a couple years since I've posted here. Glad to be back.
I recognize a few from the V8Board & George N.'s site.
My '71 still sporting the original engine/trans......the entire drivetrain.
Frame on restoration completed in early '03.
My direction with the car is to keep it stock while adding accessories/options as I find them. Summer street cruiser only. Put on about 1200 miles last Summer. Be digging it out of Winter storage possibly by late April.

Thanks guys.
Trying to add my name at the bottom of a post, along with an e-mail address.
User CP I'm sure will do it & is likely looking at me......I just can't see it.
Can someone remind me?

Hi Brad,
Doesn't seem to want to work. Is this related to the IMG code setting?
EDIT: Working OK.
Thank You.

Not a problem...you'll notice you have some new forums to view now, too. I "turned on" your membership status (forgot to do so when you renewed-duh!).

Hey, and if you get a moment, send me the photo you used in your avatar. I have the same color interior, and think it will help me paint the correct colors on the dash stuff. I already used the wrong color on one item I painted.:DOU:

'71 Dark Sandalwood for the dash. I had the folks at www.autocolorlibrary.com mix me 6 spray cans. Sent them my under column bezel to ensure a correct match.

That may prove to be very useful for my LeSabre...
How much did they charge for the cans?

I bought a Sandalwood can for the tilt steering column I'm adding (I have Sandalwood int.), but it ended out being the exact color I needed for the back seat metal pieces for a convertible (of course I didn't realize it until after I painted the column too):DOU:  :CRAP: . I believe the dash on my car is medium beige.:COMP:

The cans were quite reasonable. I was really sent for a roll when the freight & brokerage charges from the carrier came in. This was 2 years ago but I'm pretty sure the fees were an add'l $ 142.00 for a $ 37.00 order of paint!
This is all carrier based delivery fees not initiated by the vendor in sunny CA.

Fed Ex.......I think. I had a bright red & white "Canadian" tattoo on my forehead, a Maple Leaf shirt & I smiled the day it was delivered. They also claimed "special handling" as it was cans of paint.
