hi my neighbor is selling his 1973 buick centurion convertible 455, restored and up to date. has about 113 000 on the car itself, and the engine and transmission were rebuilt in the late nineties and about 20,000 miles ago. new top, stereo, and paint, has no rust runs well he's asking $8 500 for it, is that a resonable price or no? i have never heard of this buick before, but its beautiful. can some one advise me ?

That price is in the ballpark if it's a really nice example. How is the top? These cars are notorious for having awful top frames and they're a nightmare to work with.

Check out my registry:

Well, that's good news. One less headache to worry about when you buy a car like this.

If you like the car enough to justify the price, then go for it. These are GREAT highway cruisers, and are hard to beat for comfort. Got any pictures of it?
