Last Winter I painted my green tilt to match my dash (dark beige which I didn't know at that time), but the paint color I used was Sandalwood as my interior.:E: Now that I have the correct paint (or close enough for me:BROW: ), I'm ready to paint it again.

Do I have to sand the tilt with 400 grit again, prime & paint, or (and I like this option) just spray the correct color directly on?

I would use much finer paper, like 800-1000 or even a scotchbrite pad, and just scuff it up good and respray the new color over it.
