I have a few questions concerning the racing schedule for the nationals at Quaker City.
Are Delay boxes allowed in the Super Pro Class or is this a foot brake only class?
Is there a foot brake only class for cars 11.99 and quicker?
Is there a complete racing program on saturday and sunday? Or is sunday just for the Quick 16 and Super 8 cars?
Why are non buick powered cars allowed to enter?? At the Oldsmobile Race at Norwalk, if your car was not Olds Powered you couldn't run!
Thanks for everyones help with these questions.

Tony, I hope I have this correct and I answered your questions.

Super Pro can use delay boxes

Pro Class is NO delay boxes

The bump between Super Pro and Pro should be final by Friday. Last year I believe was 11.99. We do not want to pre set it so to prevent two lop sided classes in the car counts. We would like to keep the two classes close in the car counts.

Sunday will be the complete Super Pro, Pro, Super 8, Quick 16 and a Buy- Back Bracket class for all first round losers (this class is mixed and boxes are ok with this class, the fee is collected in the lanes, payout in this class is based on the participation)

All other race classes will be run on Saturday so that the specialty heads-up race class guys can still have a shot at the regular Sunday program

As for non-powered Buick cars, this does NOT apply to the Super 8 and Quick 16 classes along with any specialty race classes held on Saturday. These classes MUST be Buick powered and Buick body door slammers.

It does apply to Super Pro and Pro classes, BUT the vehicle MUST be a Buick if it does not have a Buick engine. Also it can be any body make (non Buick body, Altered, dragster etc.) as long as it is powered by a Buick engine. This rule I do not agree with. My own belief is that it should be Buick bodies and Buick powered. But 3 years ago we had a membership vote regarding this over the internet etc. The majority wanted it this way. Being we are a membership run club. the majority wins.

Rick,

I think we need some more info on the Super Pro delay box rule.

The first year we COULD use a delay box in Super Pro.

Last year we COULD NOT.

This year ????????

Please find out and let us know. Either way is fine with me, my car is set up for both. thanks
