Made 5 runs today at Cecil. Car ran Great!
12.546@107.60
12.546@107.84
12.622@106.50
12.454@106.80
12.463@106.27
Alan Wander got video of me going down the track and from inside the car. Will have to wait to see that though. Car had the best MPH with the MT's at 20 psi. 18 psi resulted in slower trap speeds, better 60'. Best was 1.72

I made a 12.09@110mph pass. :YA:
Today we'll try uncorking the exhaust and get it in the 11's. :HI:

Nice work Larry! :YA:
Alan, you haven't been thrown off yet with that 12.09 time? If not, I imagine your 11.9x run will be your swan song!

Rick Martinez using the Moon Man's log on
Right Larry a 10.95 and that's on Bias Ply tires!!!
Plus both Bruno DiPaola and Rob Chilenski both clicked off 9.12 et's!!!!!
Later in the day Bruno and Rob lined up for a grudge run. It was a side by side race from start to the end with Rob running a 9.15 to Bruno's 9.17.
John Schmidt ran a ..... 7.54 at 184 mph !!!!!! with the Opel and with Moses at the wheel!!!
Alan Wander with his 69 GS ran a 12.09 !
Dave Shaker with his 69 GS also ran a 12.09!
There were three ZO6's racing, one of them went an 11.06 at 129 mph and another went 11.10 at 130 mph on drag radials!
Paul Cassidy with his wagon won the Quick 16 ran I believe a best of a 10.75. Bruce Willson was runner-up. Bill Lagna had his wagon out and was running 10 teens with a 6600 high rev chip. Jack Cotton is official de-throned as the wheelie king by Rich Rezes (photos to come). Plenty of 8 and 9 second Turbos. On one of the Q-16 rounds both wagons were lined up together, that was a cool race to watch.
Early car count is 124 cars racing on Saturday and 73 on Friday!! We had the best car count ever for this event during the past 10 years! Mostly everyone ran their best times ever!
All of you Ohio and Michigan members.... you missed mine shaft conditions for a two day event!!!! Wish you all could have come, missed you all. Oh and gas prices...under 2 bucks a gallon. Temps: We were running below sea level with temps in the low 50's not a friggin cloud in the sky!
Tons of photos to come...

That's great Larry! It was good to see you running the car. I think you'll be adding Cecil to your list of which tracks you'll run at during the year. And if I'm not mistaken, that list has been growing!

Larry has a lot more in there if you ask me. I didn't believe I would pick up that much with the Holley over the Q-Jet. But that 12.09 shut my mouth after my jaw hit the ground.
His heads and exhaust probably flow better than mine and the quad is holding him back.
We're going to try it at Atco next month and I bet he knocks 3 tenths off that time.

Painters tape, available at Home Depot. I tape up the quarters, and the rubber goes onto the tape. Then the whole thing just peels away in one piece. Got that trick from a guy at E-town(can't remember his name)

I have NEVER removed the rubber from the quarters of the Riv. I think it looks bitchin' on there. I'm sure Johnno agrees!
