:YA: :YA: It is always great to see who took home the honors. A real special thanks to all the sponsors who made it possible. Last but not least, the people who did all the work. Congratulations to all the "WINNERS".:YA: :YA:

Thanks for posting the results Rick! Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who went some rounds. I had a great time this year and was very pleased with the way the car ran. The weather was outstanding!

I'd personally like to thank several members who made this outing worth the trip!

John Csordas Sr. - thanks for pushing me to go qualify for Q16. I guess it pays to be #16 (or #17 or #18) - just ask Rob Giroux, Shayne D., etc. I certainly would have run the v8 class as the car is usually not fast enough to qualify.

Mike Mazzeo - thanks for arranging the security at the hotel. I'm sure everyone slept a lot better knowing their cars/trailers were being watched by the right people.

Rob Giroux - thanks for supplying the rods that saw the high side of 6600 rpms many, many times over the course of 2 days. I certainly believe they've proven themselves by now. Don't tell Scotty but I've got roughly 75 runs on them so far this year!

Bill Lagna - thanks for squaring up the '68 for a few passes on Friday and for the gift in the 2nd round in Q16. From looking at the pictures, it must have been a site to see the two wagons heading down the track on they're way to 10 second passes.

And thanks to everyone else that attended - taking pictures, running the waterbox, manning the gate, etc. Without everyone involved including sponsors, the events would not happen. Thank you!!!

See you at ATCO in a few weeks!

Yes, a good day and some great racing! Lots of red eyes esp in that right lane for some reason.:TH:
Wow when that little Opel flew by at 185 (as I drifted at bit towards the center) it felt like I was sitting still at 131!!!
Good to see ya drivin John, gotta still be a rush for ya!
The Riv will be like drivin a Caddy!

Hey Paul, you should be thanking me for the gift in the final. My son Matt is still bugging me about bumping in deeper like I did after I flickered the stage bulb.
He gets 20% of my winnings......:RE:  :BEERS:

I knew I hadn't made the list long enough...

Thanks to Dave Shaker for loaning me the sawzall so I could make quick work of removing my entire exhaust system - all 70 pounds of it! If I had been using the hack saw I threw in the toolbox, I'd still be there cutting today! Dave, you bringing it to Atco - I heard Bill Lagna might need it in his quest for the 9's, so he can turn his wagon into a convertible.:BEERS:

Bruce, you might want to ask Matt just how much money he made that day...I think he'll tell you I was paying better than the old man! I wonder how much he charges to get others to bulb...maybe on a monthly, yearly rate...:BEERS:

Yup....he was arguing about my dial.

The round before I changed from a 10.16 to a 10.17 at the last minute and ran a 10.169 but since I won he let me slide.:DOU:
