what do you guys who are crankin the rpms and the horsepower have for a motor, and in the bottom end?

balanced and blueprinted stock parts with arp bolts. thats it.

btw. i dont keep any secrets on any of this stuff.

I try to keep mine at 6000 and below, stock '69 rods, stock bolts, balanced assembly.

Custom forged crank, light billet steel rods, J&E forged slugs, studs on the whole bottom. Balanced,balanced, balanced!(Can't stress that enough) Been over 8K several times on the dyno without problems but has yet to be in a dressed GS for the real stress test.
