What's the deal with the Bi-monthly Build Sheet? My last issue was April/May. Is this still being offered to clubmembers? Where are the issues for June/July, August/September? Thanks.

Tim,
I know there is an issue of "The Buildsheet" at the printers right now and Rick will have another finished within the next 2 weeks. When that one is done, it will be sent on to the printers, so the next two copies will be out very soon.
Duane
Thanks for the response Duane. You beat me to it. THe issue at the printer should be out very soon. Another is following up quickly.

Rick,
You must be getting so much stuff sent to you for the newsletter that is must be very difficult to sort through all the great articles. :RE: I bet that's why it is taking so long for the newsletter.:BROW:

Duane
....but is it the correct 16" wheel for his 70 ?? :BROW: :RE: :GT:
Alright everyones a comedian:WINK: . Actually the right comment might have been, "Oh no, darn belts, can't get out in time! I wet my pants again!"
Yeah the tilt is needed, I installed it back in the early 80's along with the non-correct steering wheel:T: back when it was a street car. Eventually I want to install a collapsible steering shaft with removable wheel for better safety.
Mike should get a big thanks :TU: too for doing last minute checks and getting the issues back and out to you all. It's alot of work.
Here ya go. Me keeping busy doing the newsletters:ROLL: :WOW:  Need more Hot Pockets!!!

Have there been any 2007 issues of the news letter? I was a paid member through 2006. The last issue I received was Dec 05/Jan 06. I'm looking for a reason to renew my membership.

There are 2 (in the same envelope) right now. Should be "in the mail" by Monday. They are the last of the 2006 issues and the first of the 2007 issues will be ready for the printer in about 2 weeks. Unless you renew now, the two issues in the mail come Monday will be your last.
Hope you do renew!!!
Brad
The March issue is being completed this weekend and will be at the printer by Wednesday. The other 2 issues have been held up at the printer waiting on an ad. So we figured on mailing them out together. Should be in your mail box very soon.

December/January 2007 Cover. Iissue #6 of the 2006 year. This issue along with the Oct/Nov issue should be in the mail already.
Feb/March issue (Issue #1 of 2007 year). Almost completed and ready for print.

I’m such a dope, no really. I know you all think I’m great but trust me.
I get things in my head and assume then gotta feel dumb.
Was still impressed with the "build sheet" thing but I had it in my head that it was kinda like blue print or such. Folks sent in detailed build info on engines, every aspec, all 6-12 or 8 measurements of each piston, rings, in this bore with all its detailed info and like a 4-5 page booklet build sheet. Like you could just copy what someone else had done?
Still expected the other stuff and its no big deal, still nice just the name made me assume it was more of a here is what I built, then folks can learn read copy or take bits from here n there as you keep us updated how their projects/ engine have lasted.
Keep history that’s updated on how its has lasted, runs it makes, even miles, mileage n so on????
Just what ya need, more work huh?

We can put you in charge of that, Matt! :HI: We'll have everyone send to you their "build-up" and you can edit it and turn the article into Rick for publication. Dang, I come up with great solutions, don't I!??!

Bigger question is would folks be willing to share such detailed info?
I do feel dumb but since I found V8 n heard of BPG and the build sheets I had thought it was like that. Thought id get some monthly secret plans I could copy n build my own bad as motor by duping what already works, DOH?

Though I would be willing to take on the job.
Getting first access to such info would be like gettin early editions of PlayBoy for me;)
Id make sure no pages were stuck toge.............kiddin kiddin
Though I do wanna pick your brain some on this club stuff. We got the folks, the intrest, n money to start a motorcycle club with my Virago forum folks but I want it done right. Keeping it seprate from the forum or even me money wise.
Like how the BPG is run.
Though might need to start a PM about that but it would be an open club to any kind of motorcycle riders, make or model don't matter. Whole point of the group is the attiude or lifestyle of the group. Laid back 4psi style.
http://www.4psiclub.com
It would be more up and running by now but I don't want to mix money.
[Get enough of that with forum and stuff we sell for it.]
Already got jacket patches but can't start selling them yet n taking members as I don't feel comfy mixing money so much.

Are we stuck in the same cycle of asking for the Build Sheet. It has been more than two months since the last one came out. Can we be expecting our 2007 Fall issue soon?
It is being mailed out to the printer. :YA:The delay, getting enough material to fill a complete newsletter.
Anyway it's done and out to the printer. Next issue, well come on guys lets hear about those winter projects.:TU:

So if I have a 10 sec pass, then I will write an article on the car, even if not, I probably will write it and submit it. I have a pretty good story of how I got the car.....Enough jabber jawing, Where's my buildsheeeeet?!?!:T::T:

We will be getting a new editor, and I believe election info will be posted soon by Mr Schmidt.
Duane
PS. I have written tons of articles in the past, if everyone would pen 1 or 2 think of how full the newsletters would be.

Great cover Rick! Can't wait to read the article  Typing up an article was easier than we originally thought. Wish more people would try it as to make Rick's job easier :BEERS:
Information regarding elections are in this issue. So I guess we will have some members stepping up? Renee? You got my vote:YA:
Jim..new editor, tell me Jim, who? I find it difficult to take a break from a position that no one steps up to take regardless how burn't I am.
Duane, I am forever thankfull for your help. :TU:
