Rudy,
Probably the best place to ask is over on the RegalGS.org board ( http://www.regalgs.org/forum/index.php ). There is a specific forum just for Riviera's on there. Be aware however that there is not a lot of aftermarket parts for the Riv or the Series I Supercharged 3800 V6...

look... pull the drivetrain and sell it on ebay... go out and buy a complete drivetrain, wiring harness, and computer from a wrecked 04 gtp... it is a direct replacement... has the better 4t65e trans, much better computer system... 98 and up have the best computer systems, the engine longblock is virtually the same however the heads flow better numbers and the new gen 5 blower is twice what the original was. just add a dhp race tuned computer, exhaust cold air intake, change the blower pulley 3.4 on a gen 5 blower or if you used the older style mn90 go 3.25", run 4 heat ranges colder on the plugs, and you will see about 3* knock retard at wot on a hot day. and it should run high 12's or low 13's on sticky tires. don't go spending a lot of money on a combo... I have a guy that knocks all these cars in the head and he parts them out for the gtp crowd. I can give you his number... he is also very knowledgeable. or port some manifolds, fab a merge pipe on the center of the crossover, block off the factory downpipe, and bolt a turbo up to it, gut the blower and make or buy a block off plate, fuel system needs should not be necessary as long as you are reasonable with boost levels, if you do decide to upgrade the fuel system stuff... install a 98 or newer gtp harness/ computer
so the electronic support is there plus you will have the obdII diagnostic capabilities.
call if you have any q's

Brad is correct, the perf options for the Series I engine are much more limited than the Series II.

Brandon threw a lot at you, but if you're not interested in going to that extreme, do some reading on the regalgs.org board, or better yet, most of us 95-99 Riv guys have moved from there to a Riv only forum, www.rivperformance.com We have several members with 95 Rivs, and I'm sure they will have many suggestions on improving the performance of your Series I 3800. It's not a hopeless situation, just fewer options.

I used to do alot with gtp performance but the bottom line is... transmissions break and they are a couple grand if you want one to live, I have a 98 gtp, 3.25 pulley, msd coil packs, msd wires, tr6ix ngk iridium plugs(4 heat ranges colder), cold air intake(home made), 3" exhaust to factory Y into the factory mufflers, it went 13.6 on bfg drag radials, sounds like an 03 cobra too... with that blower just screaming, it sees about 14psi... it also has a dhp race tuned computer and it's a 4 door... love it as a sleeper, but its still slower than my mustang, skylark, t bird... but it is faster than my 400hp powerstroke diesel but probably not by much.... LOVE The turbo diesel!!!

Good luck registering on clubgp.com, but you can read without registering. I, and several others, have tried repeatedly over several months to register, and NEVER receive activation emails. I don't think they want any new members.

Intense is another good vendor, www.intense-racing.com

Also decent forums at www.3800pro.com

I know there is also a site for Series I performance, will have to do some digging to find that info.

yeah lol... clubgp... I joined a year or so ago... just mainly there for the contacts to buy parts... when they part these cars out they give crap away.... especially on the de-mod to sell scenarios

Like was said before there aren't many upgrades for the series one engine. Here is another link http://www.seriesoneperformance.com/index-wo.html . I believe this is the only company with any performance parts for a '95 riv.

brandon, do these 3800 SC motors have provisions - bolt holes on the side to be mounted on a RWD car? and will a 200r4 or similar type tranny bolt up. I have an idea for a 71 4-door skylark.
thanks in advance for the reply.
