6 gun : first name and your location would be good . anyway - have a 83 regal wagon 4.1 block with that # on it . have all parts except a turbo guy purchased the crank after i had it check'd and polished , probably sold it too cheap . also had an 82 regal 4dr motor too but i did not trust that block ( kid ran it outa oil ) so it went to scrap pile . so i also have a couple q-jet intake setups , extra heads , two 3 speed lock up trans , flex plates , starters , distributors , oil pans , pistons , rods , ac set up , etc etc . was gonna fix up the 4dr with a 350 but the wagon i bought for parts is actually in better shape so i may use that for a budget stripped down drag car ? can e-mail me or call . money - $? . thanks . del

I got the block home and did some casting flash clean up. The block looks good and should make some power when I get it done.
The 245 cu.in. (3.8 block) V6 that's in the car at the moment sent my 87 Buick WE4 down the 1/4 to the tune of 10.15 @ 131 mph with a 1.46 60 ft. on MT drag radials this last November.
This 4.1 block with a 3.625 stroke crank and over bore will equal 273 cu.in.
I hope it will get my daily driver in the 9's, with all things being equal.
Thank's Again, Bill:BEERS:
