Looking on ebay, there's a place called Oregon Performance Transmissions (http://stores.ebay.com/Oregon-Performance-Transmission_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZQ2d33QQftidZ2Q QtZkm) that's showing a

Everywhere else I've seen these kits they run $75-90 - is this too good to be true?

Seems like it'd be the same thing, wouldn't it?

I believe the Chevy one is the one I used on the convertible..

Guys:

The SK-???? kits are the rebuilder type kits that only fix the major problems with a particular trans: Ill-timed shifts, slipping, etc. These ARE NOT the performance kits.

The ones to look for are called the "Reprogramming" kits and are numbered 400-2, 400-3 etc., and cost what James quoted.

Ahh, So! Thanks for the info, I figured I'd missed something (or that the ad was less than crystal-clear).

Still, $62.99 is the best price on the kit-to-get that I've found...

Months later, I'm maybe thinking of actually doing the TH350-to-TH400 swap...
