Newbie again, actually this question is for me and my brother who is also a newbie with the same question on his 71 GS. I am looking for the location of a VIN engine stamp on a 350 built in April 1971. Most places I find on the web indicate that it is on the LH side of the engine deck between the plugs. I don't see anything there. Another site indicates that the engine code is there but the VIN is on the front of the block behind the PS pump. Thank you if someone knows for sure. I am not sure of the engine plant but both of our cars are Flint assembled.
