Payouts and Rainchecks

The BPG Board of Directors has decided that payouts for the 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals race classes that were not run on Sunday due to the rainout will be carried over to the 2008 BPG event and paid in ADDITION to the 2008 payouts.

Ticket Refunds - Anyone presenting a 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals race ticket stub for the Sunday rainout will be given a free race ticket at the 2008 BPG event. These tickets can be exchanged at the registration tent.

S8/Q16 stickers - Anyone who purchased a S8/Q16 sticker for the 2007 BPG Buick Horsepower Nationals will be entitled to a free S8/Q16 sticker for 2008. The BPG has a list of those who did purchase the 2007 sticker. These stickers will be made available at the 2008 event.

The Board of Directors wants to handle the unfortunate rainout in the best interests of our members and guests. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Thank you.

just saying that as a spectator I do not want or need a refund for a rained out event....just in case someone might bring that up as a question...:SMART:

i still have one from an atco rainout. i will never use.

a lot of guys whine they spent money and it rained out. didnt get their moneys worth. in that case, the whiney's should volunteer their time so that the people that WORKED setting up these events get some easy time at the make-up event.
fair is fair.

I'm personally offended that the BOD couldn't see far enough into the future to set a date for the event that wouldn't get rained out in the first place.

John, to my knowledge the small block races were completed on Saturday, is that correct? Does that mean those participants did receive their payouts? Was anything else completed before Sunday?

Mike Ramsey thanks you, David as he was the winner in the small block class and yes, he was paid. The only others that completed their class were the TSO/TSM turbo guys. They also received their payouts. All the rest will be rolled over to bigger payouts in 2008.:YA:
