Lost all my pics

My Mac crashed a few weeks ago. I lost 4 years of pics of my cars:DOU: Anyone please that has any pics of my cars let me know. I will try to get the pics off this old computer, it wont be easy tho $. Do you still have the hard drive as it was when it crashed? O did you reload your OS back on to it?

Define "Crashed". Yardley's right, your data can probably be salvaged. I am/was an Apple certified tech and I have a bunch of "crashed" hard drives that customers had just thrown out.
