I just purchased an original owner number matching car. She is red with white top and int. Would it devalue the car if I changed the top and Int. color to black?

That's a pretty rare car you have there, and so I agree with Mark and Dave- any deviation from factory will affect value negatively. Besides, in the summer with the top down you might not be liking black vinyl!

Thanks for the help everybody. I will get some pictures soon. She only has 78,000 miles on her and I am building a new garage at home to help me take care of her. I could use some help in finding sites for parts as I plan to keep her a long time. I had a 1967 GS-400 in high school and always wanted another.
