If Patty can make it down to Oklahoma for this race, it would seem like others from the northern states could make it down too! :TU:
Come on down and whip-up on some Fords! :YA::YA::YA:

I arrived today with the Opel and Steve Davis's GN. Brought Steve along also. 17 hours, 1,100 miles. Forecast is 71 and sunny for raceday. Yes, the BPG is a sponsor of the event.

Great event!! The Fords won but I had a great time. Got to meet a lot of people, ran low 12's all day, and didn't break. Can't ask for much more than that! The bigger turbo and converter go on next weekend. Thanks for sponsoring BPG!

I had a wonderful time. I echo the sentiment of Dee, the weather was picture-postcard beautiful! Autumns glory with crisp evenings and nights and glorious days. Some of most blue skies I have ever seen. And a full moon to light the night.
Delicious food, and a pet Quarter Horse crashing the party...good yukks! I didn't know they liked potato salad. I looked away for a moment, and when my thoughts returned to food, I noted I was sharing my plate with a really big lip-smacking fuzzy muzzle!
Team Ford were ferocious contenders and Team Buick gave their all.
I was not allowed left-side photography per the armed (!) security personnel.
He was a really nice guy and I talked with him quite a bit.
I took all photos in digital RAW file format so I have to process each one individually. I'll make a post here when I have completed that.
Darndest thing, one of the point winners for Team Buick had a very distinct eastern accent!! His caaa had Massachusetts plates on it!!
