An online membership application is available that, accompanied with PayPal, makes it much more convenient to join the BPG. No more printing forms and sending checks is required.

Of course, if the post office is to your liking, there is still the form that can be printed out and mailed with your check or money order.

BPG Membership Link (http://www.buickperformancegroup.com/register.htm)

For current members, Paypal can also be used to renew your membership. Please see the membership link above for details.

Thank You!

Thanks, Marco, for stepping up to the plate and making this happen! I've been pretty tied up with other work in the last year or so, and haven't been able to tend to the websites much.

Awesome Marco! It didn't take you long to complete this task. You gotta be some kind of computer wizzard. You are the Man! Jim

Hi Hector,

Yes, eveything was received fine. I try to "batch" process stuff so I probably will get to you sometime this week, when I have a few more to process at the same time.

You'll get an envelope in the mail from me with your BPG Membership card and, if you're just joining, some backissues to keep you busy.

Thanks!!

Brad

Sorry to post a dumb question, but how does Paypal work exactly? I don't have a Paypal account (and I don't really want to start one), but I do have credit cards. Do I need to have a Paypal account to use my credit cards to pay for my dues? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

No such thing as a dumb question.

When a person sets up a paypal account, they give paypal either their credit card info or a bank account info. When you buy something and use paypal, they remove the funds you authorize from the credit card/bank account and transfer those funds to the sellers paypal account, which is tied to his bank account. They also take a 3% fee for using paypal.

The BPG is not set up to take a credit card directly. Checks/money orders drawn in US funds are fine.

Thanks for asking!

Hi Brad,

Thanks for the info, I was pretty sure that was the way it worked. :CRAP:

So the BPG can take a cheque? I will make sure it is for US funds, but if that is the case, then I will have my wife (I haven't written a cheque since the 90's,..... mid 90's) write you a cheque today and I will mail it out tomorrow. There is another Buick club that doesn't want cheques from Canadians because their bank has trouble with them. If the BPG is fine with cheques, I will gladly send one out because I have been meaning to go to the post office for the last month or two to get a money order, but when I finish work I keep forgetting. As long as a cheque (again for US funds) works for you, then I will send one tomorrow. :YA:

Thanks for your help,

Paul,

Don't know about a "cheque", but we do take "checks":LAUGH:. Just pulling your leg a little, eh?

I've never had a problem with Canadian "cheques" with our bank, so we should be good to go. Mail to the address below.

Thanks!!

Brad,

I think it is a Canadian thing, that is the way we spell "checks" in this country. :T: I just printed the form and I will send it off tomorrow.

Thanks for your help. :TU:

Brad,

Have you received the cheque yet? I just checked and it hasn't gone to my bank yet. If you haven't received it yet it should be there shortly.

I signed up last night. I submitted the form online and paid through paypal, but I haven't received any confirmations so I'm not sure if I screwed it up somehow. :DOU:
