I just wanted to point out that Denny and Renee spent a HUGE portion of their event working the staging lanes. They had a lot of trouble communicating with the tower and their efforts did not go unnoticed by some of us.

However, I want to make sure their efforts don't go unnoticed by ANYONE.

A BIG BPG SALUTE TO DENNY AND RENEE. Er, on second thought, let's just thank them. I doubt they would appreciate (or deserve) a "BPG Salute". (For those of you who don't know what the BPG Salute is, just ask anyone from the Northeast Mafia.

So...would that be the BPG salute or the Northeast Mafia Salute? :T:

Thanks Renee and Denny for making sure the race program runs as smooth as possible.

What's that? Do I hear a nomination for BPG race director? All who agree say Yea! :HI:

Thanks everyone. Just tried to get everything to run as smooth as we can and help Chris Lyons out as much as possible, he had his hands full with the running of the heads up classes. We are both racers so we know what it is like to come to the staging lanes and sit and wait to run and tried to not have that happen down there, it was hot enough without having to be sitting in your car in the lanes.

Thanks again and remember, your input can only make this better, so if you did or didnt like the way something was run, post it

I did hear numerous remarks about "that gal" who did a superb job!! Very complimentary as to her expertise and keeping people informed as to what was going on.

Staging lane coordination was all Renee & Denny -- I wasn't able to help out like I wanted to -- being pit crew to husband & brother kept me too busy......

To good Buick Friends, and why I attended, was to see all of you, I didn't get to talk to a Norwalk, or the BCA National meet in Flint last month, putting two major events on in 6 weeks time, I needed some downtime with my Buick Friends and you did a great job. Renee and Denny learn from the greatest Buick Racers, Doug Hecker and Bill Wills, who have both raced Buicks for more than half their lives, and take their advice well.
My only suggestion, and I told Brad and Bruce this, is to start the event earlier in the day, and end earlier so the eats and social time after can have more time, other than that, the weather we can't control, so carry on!
See some of you at the MWBC, I will have the racecar there, and be racing.

I gotta get the courage to go down the track, I'm a wimp :PUZ:

Dougie would look hot in some shortie shorts being pit 'B' -- would take a lot of convincing tho :BROW:

it would take some work to convince doug? c'mon, I find that hard to believe. Short shorts and Doug just go hand in hand.

Quit being a wuss, I'll go down in the other lane with ya! I'll be gentle...<giggle> no i won't!
