I have a 1934 Ford 2 dr sedan. I plan to put a 401 nailhead in when I get the chassis done so this is the first of many questions. I want to run AC and power steering. I don't know if the stock brackets and pumps will even fit. Anybody know of aftermarket brackets that I can look at?

Aftermarket brackets are available for A/C & Alt. , but sit up kinda high on the engine. Add to that P/S & I don't know where you can mount that, especially if your going to run hood sides & expect to close the hood sides. Some of the older Buicks had P/S mounted high off the left side closer to the center above the water manifold, like '63-'62 & back. I've seen A/C, P/S, & Alt. mounted low by the motor mounts. This was on a '56 Buick with a 425 with a 6x2 & using a shorter Sanden A/C compresser. You will most likely have to come up with a little creative thinking on your part, but it can be done. It all starts with an idea, a pair of scissors & some cardboard.
Good luck, you can do it, it all just takes time. Don't rush & you WILL be satisfied with the results.
