Congrats to all of our winners from the 19th annual Buick Performance Weekend at E-town.
Quick 16 winner for the second year in a row was Bruce Wilson with his big block Jaguar and Rick Martinez was runner-up.
Our other bracket classes were bumped together to form one because of the lack of cars. 28 I believe. Winner was Gerald Jeitner who I believe won last year as well. Runner up was Sean Riccardi.
Saturday Dom Lamorte with his 70 GS took home the money for the slick class. I will list how the $4000 in prize money was paid out in the next day or two. thanks again to the winners and to all that attended and help out with the event.

Let's hear it for Ant'ny YACSTER for taking 3rd place in his Nailhead Rivi!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to Bruce Wilson two time winner with his TA Performance Sponsored BUICK powered Jaguar. I don't have a 2008 shot in the winner circle, so just take his 2007 Winner Circle shot and cross out the 07.
I only wish I didn't cut the red eye and that the race would have been decided on the stripe. Great run Bruce:TU:

Thanks to ALL that make this event a sucess!
Hey, Rick maybe we shouldn't have split the money then maybe you wouldn't have redlit? Who knows......
My cat was on a leash. They wouldn't count the 9.84 as a 10.00 so on the second qualifying I had to lift at 1000 ft (10.19) or else not make the field. Had to guess first round. 2/3 throttle and 28 deg timing got it to 10.0s luckily. Gotta have some luck!
Did you find your jacket???
See you at Cecil, maybe I'll give you guys a break and leave the cat home and bring the GS.:TU:

Great Job, Bruce and Rick. Love that cat:TU::TU: Rick you did a fantastic job this weekend. It was a blast to be able to see you guys run:TU: I am usually in the lanes with you guys and miss all the good spectator stuff.
Thanks to ALL that make this event a sucess!

Your right with that Bruce. I know what your car can run. My car was running dead on its number all day, the wildcard was me at the tree. Giving you the head start I would have planned to run her all out not lifting at all and making you take the gamble on crossing the stripe first pushing you to break out. And if you got out of it at the last nano second I would rely on my previous runs that the car would run its number. Of course that all depends on cutting a good light :SL: Anyway it is what is, good race Bruce:TU:
With the stress gone unfortuntely I didn't concentrate enough on the tree. I would have rather lost at the stripe, but hell thats dragracing.
I did find my jacket. When my daughter jumped in the car for a ride in the lanes, she accidently removed the jacket from the car leaving it on the trailer. It's not her fault, fault lies with me....YES DAVE, I know...I'm a jackass:ROLL:
See ya at Cecil Bruce.:TU:

Hey Rick did you get pulled over today?:ROLL:
I'm on the phone with him this morning and he goes "ut oh I got to go, that cop just pulled out behind me he saw me on the phone.". :DOU::DOU:
:LAUGH::LAUGH:
Nope. When I saw him coming out I was right at the Bruckner and 95 split in the Bronx. I shot across three lanes:RE: got in between two trucks like I was taking 95 on the right towards the GW, then got in front of the trucks and right at the split I shot back over three lanes to the left towards the Throgs Neck Bridge. A quick glance and I saw the Highway cop boxed in between the 2 trucks heading on 95 towards the GW:T: :HI:
It wasn't as bad as it sounds, I just drove like as if I was a livery cab:LAUGH:

So, has Englishtown banned your Jag now, the way Cecil County did? We know damn well you CAN'T bring the Jag to Cecil because you keep running those illegal 9s!! That's why you're bringing the GS, isn't it? You're such a rebel.
