2009 BPG Nationals Hotel Information

The Host Hotel is The Hampton Inn again. The BPG has booked the entire Hotel for July 31st thru August 2nd. The Hotel will again be providing security. National Trail will also be providing ARMED SECURITY at the track with limited access after hours for those of you that wish to leave your Rigs etc overnight. We would like to keep the Hotel Parking lot for cars only. If you wish to bring your rig back the Kroger's Shopping Center is next door and the Hotel with have security there also.

Red Roof Inn and Courtyard Security is being provided free of charge by the Greater Licking County Convention & Visitors Bureau

Man I wished I could have pulled the trigger on our reservations but with my Dad being sick we have not made any travel plans for this year. It looks like we will not make the GS Nats but we may make the BPG Nats it all depends on how he is doing.

I think last year I made my reservation at the host hotel in June.

Does anyone have an extra room at the host hotel. I was going to bring my iron stage 2 x to the event but if I can't stay and keep the car at the host hotel I am going to leave the car at home.

Don't feel that way Herb. When Duane and I visited the area 6 weeks ago, we made sure, no make that DAMN sure, there would be security at the majority of the hotels. The Holiday Inn is very nice and just up the street from the Hampton, plus the Holiday Inn has MUCH more room for parking trailers and such.

If it were me, I would LEAVE MY CAR AT THE TRACK as there will be ARMED SECURITY there. Then just drive your tow vehicle back to the hotel. Duane and I insisted that the track provide security for all the participants. And, being the good businessmen and women they are, they agreed to do so.

While no one can say nothing will ever happen to your property, I feel the BPG has gone above and beyond to do everything possible to make your stay as trouble free as possible.

Just to add to Brads post alot of the Hotels are providing 24 hour security...the Licking County Chamber of Commerce is even providing additional security... National Trail is providing limited access to the track after hours....I believe in the 2 years that we have been there that there has never been an "incident" the MOPAR Nationals have been held there for years without any problems....I cannot guarantee no problems but with 82 other GSX owners showing up...it must say something about the Security that NTR and the Hotels are willing to provide...
