I'm heading down tomorrow to get some passes in before my first points race Saturday. Anyone else planning on going? I can't wait to see what the car runs now with the secondaries working properly and a new set of valve springs.

Beware of one fellow who has been honeing his skills in his new Black Corvette. He's the guy who usually is on the starting line with camera equipment not a car.
He recently laid down a personal best with that Black Vette of 11.71@121. I think you know who the plastic car owner is Artie!

:T: He still hasn't run where my Blue vette was back in '03 with a stock engine and bolt-ons :) Plus, I already have a Corvette Challenge event winner trophy so I'm not worried about it. I'm glad I'm back to racing all Buick powered cars, the LS series engines get too expensive when you want to go really fast...I'll stick to my slow little 350 car for most of this season, but when I get my other car finished I'll run some heads up stuff instead of just bracket racing.

Nope, had it almost done then decided to implant the engine in a much lighter non Buick body that should really piss off some chevy purists. Shooting for a race weight of 2750 with driver :TU: I did make some headway on the single turbo mockup for the 350 though, I'm going to see if I can get some decent numbers out of the 350 for now. Cashflow is the only issue right now as I'm not working since I got laid off a couple months ago.

Yup, went down, couldn't beat the 13.94 I ran at the end of last season but picked up 2 MPH. Air was crappy, most people were 2-3 tenths off. Made 6 passes and could have had more but it was pointless since the car was within .003 on each pass. Car was all ready for my points event today that got rained out. I wound up hanging out and helped a few friends with their stuff. I'm going to throw a mild cam in my car this week and see if I can wake it up a little.
