Was over Bob's house today. He has side lined his 66 Nailhead (Fastest Bodied Buick Powered Nailhead), to get his 1970 GSX Stage 1 4-speed ready for the GSX Reunion. Looks like it is well on its way on being completed in time for the event. The car is beautiful showing 99K on the odometer, Bob owned this car for 28 years. Took some shots.

Bob's GSX Stage 1 four speed is all matching numbers restored, right down to the carb and distributor. The 455 Stage 1 engine is done and waiting for the 4-speed to return from a rebuilding prior to installation. Other than that the car needs some minor interior and exterior work left to be done.

Looks as good or better as it did 28 years ago when it was for sale at the Arco station in Fairfield! Small world- both Bob Christo and I (didn't know each other) looked at that car when it was for sale- then Mr. Quigg snapped it up!

Looking forward to seeing it again! :TU:

Using the same shifter, or did Bob find a different one?
