We usually leave early Thursday morning...EARLY Thursday morning.
Maybe you can meet Mooney and Larry on their way to Carlisle? We usually hook-up there about 8 am.

I *think* they're driving together, in Moon's '69 boat.
It's probably a ~6 hour drive from Carlisle. We stop often - our vehicles are not exactly 'fuel efficient' :BROW:
Send them an email and see what their schedule is. I know they drive out rt78, and Yardley and I are off off the PA TPKE which is why we meet up in Carlisle.

My plan is to have Alan Wander and myself hook up with Marco and Nick Rabi on the PA TPK, then hook up with Moon and Larry in Carlisle. Marco at 6AM, Moon at 8ish.

We'll also have Jim H from DE (original owner 10-10 stage1 4-speed GSX) cruising with us. :BEERS:
We'll be meeting Al Yeager in Carlisle, as well. He will not have his 'clown car' this year :YA:
Joe - email me your phone# and a good time to call.

I'd love to Al but the funds just ain't there right now.
Besides I'd have to mount taller tires or change my gear. She cruises at 3600 and up the way it is at the moment. I'd like a set of 308's.
But I'd love to go just the same. Unless of coarse there's a miracle and I get busy at work.
Who's in with you? I figured since we enjoy the same pass time...

And I'm heading out via Philly area. Plan is to take the '72 Riv down and my truck with the trailer on it and stay at the Yardley Hotel. Put the GSX (at whatever stage it is) on the trailer and Tom T. will drive the Riv. Should be quite a procession!:WOW:

I suggest we have an "etched in stone" departure time from Carlisle this year. If you ain't there by 8:30AM, you can just try to catch up to us when we stop for lunch.

Oh, my brother will be joining the caravan in his SC '03 Cobra. We should have like 12 cars or close to it.

If anyone headed to the Nats from the NJ area could pick up a hood for me in the Pittsburgh area on the way back I'll throw 'em a few bucks:BROW:

I started a post about this on the v8 board.
I say we agree to a drop-dead time. I'm thinking 8:30 at the Carlisle exit on the PA Turnpike. If you aren't there, or at least REAL CLOSE to call us and let us know, then you'll have to play catch up to us.

My nephews and I are leaving around 6AM as well. We might just all get connected.

I'm hoping to leave around 5 or 6am on Thursday morning so hopefully I'll cross you guys somewhere. Looks like I'm going to trailer my GN out this year. Stone and bug chips are killing my bumper and nose!
