you are the glue that keeps the BPG running...you so much behind the scenes that few will ever know. From Membership renewals to new members to paying the bills...and taking my late night phone calls...I thank you SUNSHINE
Renee Moore - Race Director
who has stepped up and taken the reigns of probably the most difficult position in the club...she has answered questions on other Buick Boards with great success....as a RACER it is hard to make us Happy...Renee I am glad you stuck it out...now get that blender going...
Adam Martin – News Director (Editor)
You have done wonders for the Build Sheet your fresh approach has made it one of my most anticipated magazines to get..Your help on Event Flyer and all my last minute changes are appreciated....maybe this year at the event you can help the rest of the BOD's instead of running around fixing your car...just kidding....
Alan Wander – Membership Director
has done a tireless job trying to recruit new members and getting old members to renew...you will get some help this year....and we have some ideas to help you...with the changes we had this was an issue we did not attend to...this will change
Denny Moore - Vice Chairman
thanks for coming on board when Bruce stepped down...you have been invaluable in the past few months coming up with new Vendors/Sponsors I am still wondering who wears the pants in the Moore Family...but I am sure you let Renee thinks she does....You and Renee make a great team for the BPG thank you for stepping up on issue I let slip...
Kevin Hughs - Treasurer
one of the least appreciated positions he keeps our books as well as helping out in various other capacities...from doing our taxes to helping out at our events Kevin is all good
Carl Rychlik – Show Co-Director
He has helped out Duane in the past with the car show...one of the best guys I have ever met....he will do anything for you and not expect anything in return....you could be in a blizzard and say you are cold and Carl will give you his jacket...truly one of a kind and I am Glad to call you a friend...
Michael Garrison – Newsletter Coordinator
what does he do? why is he a BOD???? reason is he does the real grunt work...he takes the Build sheets and gets them printed...he stuffs the envelopes and puts on the stamps....He is also a great Body man and Painter...and I will get to see him this year
Marc Conigliari – Web Director
aka MARCO....POLO lol,,,as Web Director he approves all the new members to website...and deletes alot of Spam...you will have noticed that you have not seen much lately...thats how I know he is doing his job...:ROLL: He has been also great with membership co-ordinating with Alan and Brad in updating membership roster...he has also been great in volunteering his time at our event on 2008,,,,,nothing like going to bed at 1:30am to be at track at 7:30am,,,as Marco and I both know....
Now the best for last....I mentioned Brad first because without him the Club would not function day to day....but the next fellow need no introduction
Duane Heckman – Show Co-Director
This is a guy that gives his all to the BPG...Daune and Mark Macoubrie made the GSX EVENT happen...who would of thought at this time we would have 103 GSX's at one event the calls he made and e-mails he has answered and questions he has responded to are unknown...the phone calls Duane and I have shared have been some of the best guidance anyone could have to keeping this club moving forward...the work that he has done as far as elections are concerned cannot be quantified... I am truly in awe
Sorry for the long post but I thought the non-members should know what it is like to be a member and be appreciated...there are many others that contribute and are not BOD's....the ladies that put there time in at the Event tent and put up with the BPG stuff all year....I will give you all a big hug...also other members such as Ron Mooney...John Csordas..Phil Roitman...plus about 20 more that make this the BEST CLUB that I thankfully to be the Chairman of,,,,, again THANKS TO EVERYONE that makes it easy on me to get the BPG where it should be... THE BEST BUICK CLUB to belong too.....
