View Full Version : Ok Fast Buick People-I Need Stroker Help Ideas and Suggestions

So I have a stroker kit and am contemplating taking my current 462 and Stroking it. My heads flow and I'm thinking if I stroke this engine and run an SP4 I have in stock, I bet I can make some good power.

What do you think??

The way it is now, I think I'm making like 450-500 hp?

I have only had my current combo on the track once and plan on going to run at MusclePalloza this coming weekend. Not sure if I'll make it because my rear main blew out and the oil pan is off and I can't get it out so I have to pull the tranny wed or thurs!!!

Thoughts? Pros and Cons?

Thanks but my current work situation is preventing me from doing anything but pay the bills. Hopefully at least.

Last year and 4 months have been the worst of my adult life.

Joe, no harm intended, but: DUH! Of course you should do it??? Except for cost of block work, I see no down side.

No replacement for displacement. Let us know what your build up is. Or is it Top Secret???
