Weiand Intake

I have a Weiand Smokey Yunick #7542 intake manifold. I know it is for a 231. I do not know if it is for odd or even fire. I would like to use it on my 225 oddfire on my Jeep project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked the weiand site? i have some old books at work. will look.

Take a look at the intake ports. In 1979 Buick started using a 'tall port' on the intake.

weiands catalog says nothing about odd or even. says to use 79 and later style intake gaskets. isnt there 2 different even fire heads??

found newer weiand cat. only lists the 7541, which fits them all. looking at pic, dont really see a difference.

That intake is for the 79 and later engines as these guys are saying and will not owrk due to the much taller runners.
