Front A arm help needed for race car

I have heard that I should remove the rubber bump stops and put in some travel limiters. Can anybody help me figure this out? Any pictures of how you have set up travel limiters?

It's very easy and not costly.
What I did was removed rubber bumper, drilled a 1/2" hole in upper control arm, got a 3" long 1/2" bolt with two nuts, weld one nut on bottum of upper control arm, thread other nut on bolt and use as a jam lock nut for adjusting front end travel.
I'll get some picutres later if interested.
