Golf cart company got back to me...they cannot guarantee any karts with lids as they are shuffled to and from various locations in and around Columbus....at this point I would ask that if you want one please let me know in this thread and when we get there Thursday a.m. we can see if they have any and reserve them in your name

Sean I would definitely want a cart. Would prefer one with a top but not that important. I would need one for Friday Saturday and Sunday. Please let me know if we have to call to hold one. Thanks

I ordered 2 carts since my family members are coming to the event. I requested a 6 seated cart and a 4 seated cart and the sales lady told me they manage 1000 carts across the country in different events and could NOT guarantee 6 seated carts will be available for the BBG. She’ll have plenty of 4 seaters though.. When I asked if I could reserve a 6 seater she said “no”, they could not support the request.. My initial thought was how disorganized they were and totally non-accommodating. I wish there were other cart vendors available that weekend to make them more flexible.

Thank you for making a golf car reservation at Summit Raceway. A vehicle(s) has been reserved in your name and payment will be collected at the time of pick up. Vehicle styles like a sun canopy and multi passenger cannot be guaranteed but rather available on a first come, first serve basis. A $25 cancellation fee will apply beginning 72 hours before the event.

Event: Buick Nationals
Confirmation#: XXXXXXX
Date of Pick Up: July 30, 2010
Date of Return: August 1, 2010
Qty: 2
Cost: $75 the first day, $50 each day after. Sun canopies are an additional $10. Six passengers vehicles are an additional $25 per day. Tax is in addition.

One of my distributors, Mid-Ohio Golf Cars, is located about five miles from National Trails Raceway. I just spoke to the owner, Roy Kasler :TU:, and he told me that he is happy to rent cars to BPG attendees. He will probably be less expensive than at the track, and you will most definately have a "lid" (top). Roy will work with you on delivery and pick-up. If enough people want cars, then he can deliver for free. Or you can go to his shop and pick it up yourself.
