We grill everyday with the gas grill. I don't think they'll let you smoke a side of beef though. :T:

I've got a call into Jim Layton on this. Will post when he returns my call.

I just called the track.

Personal BBQs are OK, as long as you clean up after yourselves.

You're just not allowed to 'feed a large crowd' because of the competition with the concession stands.

Grill away!

I got the same response directly from Jim Layton. Personal use is OK. OK to feed your personal friends in your group. Now, if you happen to slip me a tasty BBQ sandwich, I WILL be your friend!!

I guess I can feed my friends.
The smoker will be coming..since this is my personal BBQ....

I'm sure some well fed people will not mind making donations for a well cooked meal.

Whoo Hoo! Are you making sandwiches (need bread), or do we need plates/utensils?

Dave, will you be Ruby Tuesday tomorrow night to discuss the particulars?

I plan on getting there on Friday, Wish I could get there sooner. Maybe someone can get an idea of the number of people interested at Ruby Tuesdays.
Hard to figure an amount since we don't know the number of people

Dave the food was great. I gave a little $ at the table. Wow next year again. Great job. I still owe U. TY for all the work.

I wish there was a way to let everyone know when the BBQ was ready. Don't think the track would be interested in making an announcement.
Phil,
Really was not too much work. Early set up, just tend to it very little throughout the day, then chop it up and serve.
Glad everyone enjoyed the "home cooked food".
