Just wanted to know if there is any special way to adjust Rhoads lifters to avoid the clatter at low rpms. When I take the rocker cover off I can push several of them down with just the pressure from my hand In all my years working as a dealer tech I've never ran into this. It does have rollor rocker arm if that makes a difference
Thanks for any advice,

Oil pressure pumps them up, that is why you can push them in. At low rpm's you have low oil pressure and they do not pump up, which in effect reduces the cam lobe. That is why there is clicking at idle, mine does the same and it is normal and expected with Rhoads.

Thanks Dan,
I thought that was the case with the Rhoads lifters. Do set them the same as you would for any other hydraulic lifters?
Thanks for the help,
