My dad found this motor in a barn and its seems to be original, im trying to get as much info for him as i can if someone could help us out that would be awsome? thanks
Ported heads,9.75 compression,msd billet,digital 6 plus,TA.cam29608HL,stock length hard pushrods,new lifters.Icant seem to the timing set/poppinng and backfires thru exhaust,fouling plugs because i have to turn up idle on quadrajet so high just to make it run.adjusted valves at least 5 times.noticed today when i try to turn distributor for timing it shocks me!msd wires ,cap and rotor onlyfew hundred miles on them!what do i need to do about the firing thru cap,im sure that is part or all of problem!please ...
i have a 65 lesabre custom with a 300 nailhead in it but i'm trying to put a 350 chevy in it but its not lining up right the steering column is hitting the oil pan or if i change motor mounts the tranny is hitting the firewall can anyone help me with a solution. is there another oil pan i can use or any solution to make it fit
