BPG Newbie.....sort of....

Ah, the inaugural first post....

Anyway, wanted to pop the cherry and say hi. Alot of you will recognize my screen name from v8buick as I've been quite frequently on there for a few years. But I finally signed up for the BPG at National Trail this year so figured I oughtta register here. A little about me for those who dont know, My name is Shawn, I live in beautiful Dayton Ohio (Sarcasm), and am currently restoring my first car, a 72 Skylark (with the addition of a 462 and other various goodies of course).

Which brings up a question; How do I access the members only section??(I really want to read the new build sheet Yardley put out). I havent recieved my member number yet, so can anybody point me in the right direction?? Thanks fellas!

lol... Sean is the original spelling. Shawn and Shaun are an anglicized form of Sean, and Sean is the Irish form of John.

It was great meeting you guys at National Trail!! Thanks again for all the hospitality you showed me and my group, it was a definite great time! Hopefully I can get my car back in one piece in time to bring it next year!

Yeah, I know the origins well. I get flack all the time for ruining a good Irish name (my last names Riley for petes sake) by having both first and last spelled the "Dirty American" way!! LOL. But I had to fire back with something, you started it!!

The car is coming along excrutiatingly slowly unfortunatley. I've made little or no progress rececntly with all the craziness going on. As it stands now, the frame is painted and ready for the suspension to be reinstalled, all brake/fuel lines need run, and the body still needs the quarters hung and one small patch in the trunk. Thats the next 3 items on the list anyways. The only bright spot is the engine/trans are done (engines waiting on the dyno) so thats outta the way at least.
