What's the cheepest lightest front disc brake set up for drag racing?
Last winter I bought a Strange kit from Summit when they had a 15% off sale. That was about the cheapest I could find a quality kit. The Strange kit is a quality kit with a one piece rotor. The Wilwood kits have two piece rotors, I read a few places they are more prone to warp.

I put the Aerospace Componets front disc kit on my 72 Skylark. I also bought them when they were on sale. It was the easiest "kit" I have ever put on a car. BTW there is a difference between cheap and safe. Link http://shop.aerospacecomponents.com/...-69camaro.aspx

It shows only up to 70 in the skylarks so are the spindles the same on a GS? Does that kit fit on drum spindles? Do you need those brake hoses also?
Spindles are the same. When you order they will ask you a few questions. Mine was a drum brake car. The kit was 100% bolt on. Yes I did need to order new brake hoses I went with some braided stainless steel ones.
Alan
They show those hoses on down in the list of parts. When I looked at the pics it looked like you would have to have the front disc spindles because of bolting up to where the calipers originally mounted.
That sure looks good on there! Are you going with the duralume bushings on the control arms?
No I didn't. I went with the polygraphite but wish I had stepped up to del a lum bushings.
Alan
Thanks for spelling that right. I was going to put delalube but I knew that was wrong.
