Now all you have to do each week is cut yourself putting that motor back together and the whole thing will be painted by summer. lol

if the dragster fails to get to 8.50, I'm going to sell it and go into "hobby horse" racing. at least I will be able to drive that. lol

I expect you to break 9's with the new cam. 9.24 to 8.50 going to need another 100 hp for that. could put that boy on a 25 lb. diet lol. that should get you below 8.70. you won't like that hobby horse racing too danged boring this is more fun. Put a 75 shot of nitrous on it to go with the blower that will keep it cooler and you can ram some more gas in. 8.40 now.

got stupid last week. ended up buying a sbc kinsler fuel injection 3 piece intake. nice part is separate sides. just need to make adapter plates to fit the 350. super light too. have to shop around for rest of setup.
swap meet sunday. found a local company that does micro polishing. cam and dist gears are going to be done. cannot afford not to because of h/p wear issues. think more should look at it.

Does that mean .025 is the new .035 of yesterday?

I did see some of this when my brother and his buddies were using blowers and turbos on the Mustangs and Mitsubishi's. I think I am running at .035 I never like that .060 gap either, thought it was too much for the system. They were calling it spark plug blowout.

May be interesting to try .025 or .030 on some nitrous runs.

.025 is what I have been running. haven't had any issues and don't want any with a blower. I use ngk's UR5 or UR6.

had the new cam and dist/cam gears polished. hopefully the heads will be back this week. already way behind.
