that's good to know, .075 would still yeild me 373 cubes might try and make my own MLS gasket this time since I have my custom Gaskets-To-Go MLS handy to duplicate

is that why your building another 363 vs a 365.55(366)
asuming this isnt an issue with .075
the 350 is a stroker(torque) motor by design. running n/a by the stuff i make(ex: gearing) requires more bore, less stroke. would really love to sleeve it out to 4". but haven't figured out all the answers yet. turbo, pro/chgr and the real s/c's doesn't require it. plus all i do is old world tech. i like the simple stuff. nothing is new tech. it is a basis for the rest of you to build and improve on. and i don't keep any secrets about anything i do.

last w/end we took the rail over to my fathers because he has a long driveway and a hill to run up to stop. car tested fine. today we went to the valley for buick day. john did 2 small burnouts and something broke between the engine and the rear. no drive, reverse, nothing. hopefully its something easy to fix. and hopefully its not the dedenbear p/glide. be a shame if a 200hp v6 breaks a dedenbear.
tomorrow is musclepalooza at the valley. taking the 73 with the 363 s/c WITH a good trans for once. if something breaks on that one, its going to be a long lonesome summer.

we made o for 2 this w/end

So did you tear it apart yet?
Carl Creque
pulled apart the noticeable's. nothing. sending the trans out for inspection. damn 'little bumps in the road' syndrome.
"help support commerical viability of bovine aviation"
which one?

the s/c 363
did you have anytimes with the 363 as n/a?
well............since i finally put in a good trans, p/g w/transbrake, the car is a lot more responsive on take off except the big street tires offer no traction whatsoever. that being said they were useless at the track. it smoked them thru 1st, shifted to 2nd and continued the same. the car then kinda went sideways(could have been another wall story) then straighten out and continued on. it was pulling real hard and got a little hairy on top end. i got out of it before the 2nd mph light. went to get my timeslip only to find out it was leaky water(back to sideways issue) due to fan belt was off and it was overheating. timeslip was 15.6(due to tires and o/heating) at 99.5 mph. so if it didnt o/heat and had slicks, i figure it would have been towards the low 12's.
s/c's make heat and when you add a hot day, it compounds the issue. not a good thing. the s/c is coming off and back to the s/p. i love the instant power with the s/c, but not the problems.

sounds crazy
off with the s/c for good? or just temporary off till you get problems figured out?
belt falling was old. not an issue. the heat is the issue. 20-20 hindsight in making the blower intake, i took too much off the top. i probably should make a chiller spacer for it. then i would need a bigger hole in the hood. also would need to upgrade cooling system. i need a lower g/n turbo intake for the v6 so i can put the s/c on it to see what the rail will do.
too many project ideas..........lol

forgot to ask.....got yours running yet?
"help support commerical viability of bovine aviation"
nope, mines still under the car cover. but I plan to start working on it this month.
buddy is going to help me with putting the pro-touring suspension on, I still need to send out the burton s/p intake to get modified for efi..then goes on the holley hpefi system and turbos
baby it for a while till i get the hershe bottomend/ 355 engine built...then on to finding maybe a 67 special for a 373ci Twinturbo(bigger turbos) for a drag car
