    Default Front Fender Wells

I have the engine out of my 72 Skylark and want to "cleanup" the engine bay including the front wheel wells. Can these be pulled without taking the front fenders off? Also, is it difficult to take the front fenders off?

I've seen the inner fenders removed w/o removing fenders but it is a tricky manuever.

Warning: unless you are a vey good auto body guy you'll never get the fenders to go back on as well as they fit right now. Just an FYI. Seen it done many times with poor results.

Ditto Yardley's post.....often there are shims involved, etc, to make the panels and seams align properly.

I pulled my inner fenders out without removing the fenders. Not that bad at all. I would do it again
