Ran My Dad's T-Type FINALLY
So this past weekend I finally got to run my dad's T-Type at Cecil County Dragway. Also participated in the sunday points race. Now lets keep in mind that I've never ran a turbo car before so this was a new experience for me, and what fun it was. My time trial pass was a disappointing 14.29 at 96mph, messed my launch up pretty bad. First round eliminations I red lite by .012 and went a 13.72 at 101mph. After that we were gonna get ready to leave by heard an announcment that they were gonna have a consolation round to all first round losers so we went back up to the lanes. This pass I went 13.77 at 100mph and the guy I was running broke out so I made it back into the show. My last pass I went a 13.75 at 95mph. Reason for the low mph was because I was on the brakes too early and the guy I was running drove by me right at the finish. That was a fun race cause he beat my .036 light with an .026 and I feel that even if I stayed in it a little longer I would've broken out. Important thing is I had fun and I wanna go faster hahaha.
