Buick 455 GS motor and tranny WIW

I found this motor and tranny while looking for an HEI distributor. Not sure of the year but it has points style distributor. The guy said its from a Riv. It's complete including air cleaner that has a chrome lid with 455 GS1 on it. What's it worth? And is anybody needing it?

it most likely has Stage1 heads, however they are not unshrouded.

I am a Chevy guy so what does unshrouded mean?

Ran good two years ago. Has been dry and covered and turns over freely. Came out of a 1973 Buick Rivera. It is complete top to bottom including the air cleaner

Unshrouded means the area of the chamber has not been cut away to allow better air flow. See the area of the chamber that "loops" around each valve? That isn't there on the small valve heads, and as far as I know, the big cars didn't get it either.

I bought the complete setup for $250 with the tranny. I have it now and might end up rebuilding it for my wagon instead of pulling my wagon motor, rebuilding and then installing it. Might be easier to rebuild this one and have it ready to put right back in
