86 gn transmission advise

my 86 gn is shifting high 2nd gear @4000 rpm and 3rd is also high rpm. i just had the transmission rebuilt too so i honestly dont know what the problem could be.
ive checked the detent cable and its in good shape so i have no other ideas could anyone help out?

did you do the detent reset procedure...if foot to the floor when shifting or just normal acceleration

for it to shift normal i have to floor it then let off the gas completely for it to go into the gear

I would take it back to the person that rebuilt it.
