    Hell our wagon runs in the 12s and I don't want to race across seepage. I totally understand the decision to cancel Saturday and we are not upset at all. There is not a damn thing this club can do about seepage at the track or Mother Nature. Can you imagine the guilt the BOD would live with if we all did race and something were to happen? What if someone got really hurt? We can replace cars.. we can not replace people. Safety first.

    Guilt is only part of it. The BOD would be legally open to lawsuits and it would cost them pretty much every penny they have.

    I would think it would be on the track if they opened not the club if we ran with seepage. It's their defect. They are the ones that maintain the track.

    True but believe me, the club and each and every officer of the club would also be named. In 32 years of the insurance business, I've seen this happen all too often.
