I wish I had never sold this car!! This was my first Buick, and my first car altogether...so it had some sentimental value when I stupidly sold it.
It went through a lot when I had it. I bought the car with 100k miles on the odometer from a close friend of mine. His grandmother had owned the car since new, and gave me a few pictures of them standing next to it when it came home for the first time....VERY cool!! It went through various stages of primer and paint when I owned and drove it to and from school. I finally finished the body work in the Fall of 2001, and in the Spring of 2002, a very serious hail storm came through town. Baseball size hail balls beat the cars to death in the parking lot, including mine. I had no glass breakage, but there were about 100 BIG dents all over the top and right side of the car. Insurance wouldn't cover it, so I was forced to live with it for another year before I found the Centurion. These are the last good pictures I took before it sold - you can see some of the dents throughout the sheet metal in your squint:::
some fun shots of the car in primer::
This is when the car was parked for a couple weeks for final prep:
This is a good one - my senior car show I won 3 awards that day - 1st place for "Longest Boat," 3rd place for "Grocery Getter," and 3rd place for "That piece of junk actually runs??"
