Hey Gang, I spoke with John Schmidt today, he went to Bradenton Florida for a T&T session this last weekend and he posted a 7.58@182.6mph!!!!!!
that little red Opel was flying fast and furious! Congrats John on a new personal Best time for you and the car. approx. .5 seconds faster than Atco this past fall.

Hey Bruce, just got off the phone with old Moses down in Florida and he said to clarify that he went .05 quicker, not .5 sec quicker than his previous best, the 7.63 at Atco. He also said your excuse for not making the trip was WEAK! I'm flyin' down to Bradenton this Thursday for the 10.5 tire race to hang out with my boy Scotty G, and I'm gonna get together with JS on his way home from Daytona on Sunday. I predict there will be much charred cow flesh eating and much whiskey drinking that night! Wish you were gonna be there too!
