***Camping at Salem??***

Is there camping allowed at the track or some where near the track? Are there showers at the track if camping is allowed there?

But if you find a camp ground without them, I'd let you guys shower in my room at the Hampton, Canfield. I check in on Wed, and out on Sun.

Right! We don't need any more hospital visits related with Salem. Last year Rod spent a week and a half in the hospital. Not due to an injury from the track, but it all started there.

Danie, yes camping is allowed and encouraged by the track, gates are open all night so you may come and go easily, Showers? supposed to be installed by now. Small campfires are permitted as well, and electric and water are available also. there is security at the track and gate.

It was nothing he ate. He had a blood clot that went from just under his collar bone past his elbow. His arm started to swell the last day at Salem. We thought he must have hit his arm on something or who knows. Three days after we got home I finally talked him into going to the doctor since it was 5 times it's normal size and purple. The doctor tried to blow it off for a rash and wanted to send him home. Rod told him I thought it might be a blood clot so the did a scan and found this massive clot. Week later he is out of the hospital, on blood thinners, a rib removed and a busted up face. He came out worse then when he went in. So now he's a little lighter with out the rib.. that should be good for a tenth or so, right!
